Business Appointment SMS Consent

Join us for upcoming events, from community gatherings to special sales. We can't wait to see you there.

How Businesses Obtain Customer SMS Consent

Participating businesses are responsible for obtaining and retaining their customers' consent before scheduling SMS appointment reminders through MyReminder.

Businesses may obtain consent through a customer-facing appointment booking form or a documented verbal conversation.

Example of a verbal consent request:

“Would you like to receive text-message reminders about your appointments from [Business Name] through MyReminder?

Message frequency varies based on your appointments. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.

You can review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service at https://nsassa.com/myreminder

Businesses should record the customer's response, the date, the phone number, and how consent was obtained.

MyReminder requires businesses to confirm that they have obtained and retained customer consent before submitting an SMS reminder.
